2007 - 2008 MASTERS MEETS

Entering A Swim Meet

1. Check your Family's file folder in the pool lobby regularly for updates & notices. Entering a Swim Meet starts with you receiving a notice with the meet information in your family file folder.
2. About a month or more ahead of a Swim Meet you should receive a Meet entry info slip and a phone call notifying you of the upcoming event. (Advance Meet notice is also listed in the club's competition calendar . . .)
3. Fill out the entry slip keeping the TOP half to stick with a magnet to your fridge so entry information of which events you have entered, when warm ups start, and the location of the pool are the as reminders.
4. Make sure to return the entry stub - correctly filled out, with cheque or cash made out to the ORCA Swim Club before the entry return deadline. Late entries can be made but after the deadline there is no guarantee we can get your swimmer into the event.
5. Usually, an entry list before the meet is posted on the Club Bulletin Board, including relays. It important to double check this information to make sure your swimmer has been correctly entered.
6. Confer with other Parents ~ carpooling may be a convenient way to overcome the logistics of getting your swimmer/s to the pool.
