For 2010, the Summerland Sprint Triathlon is in its 10th year and continues to grow in size and popularity. It is classified as a Sprint triathlon meaning that it starts with a swim portion followed by a bike portion and finally a running portion. The classifications and distances are as follows note that KOS stands for Kids of Steel:
